Homeopathy & Food Sensitivity Testing
Food sensitivity is an abnormal immune reaction to certain foods, with symptoms generally limited to the intestine (“the gut”). This distinguishes it from food “allergy”, which may cause a multitude of body responses.
These tests (panels) are able to highlight to what extent foods affect the development of gut inflammation. Test results help to determine the possible source of enzyme deficiencies and whether they are coming from the stomach, pancreas and/or biliary system. Together with the tests for gut permeability and inflammation these food panels create a clearer picture of gut function that helps in determining treatment protocols.
