What is a Homeopathic Practitioner?
To become a fully qualified professional homeopath takes three to four years of training.
Homeopath applies to physicians, or sometimes non-physicians, who practice Homeopathic Medicine. It is a school of thought or treatment, which, in many cases rests on natural remedies. One of the most important points in looking for a Homeopath, is whether you feel comfortable discussing emotions and life experiences together. Building trust with a client is key to determining how to proceed with treatment.
When you book a consultation it should be long enough to:
1. develop trust between you and your homeopathic Practitioner
2. to talk about things on a deep and personal level.
Homeopathic Practitioners look at each individual client, their wants and needs and together they begin to peel back the onion - one layer at a time.
We may feel that we have an allergy to dust or grass, based on a family member with similar symptoms, but the reality is each person is unique and what you thought was a grass allergy may very well be a reaction to a certain food, or personal care product. When you have a trusting relationship with your homeopath it is possible to really look at the whole picture and identify the best course of action to a healthy and happy life.
" I chose a Homeopathic Practitioner because I was ready to go deep and learn what emotions from the past or current were making me feel this way. I describe it much like a tree. Cut the tree in half and look at all the rings. Each one a time line of growth and experience holding 'stuff' that I wanted to learn about and release, so I could heal. Basically, I wanted to get to 'the root' of the condition and I felt supplements just wouldn't get me there." Lee P, Ontario
